Graduate Certificate in Substance Use Disorders
  • Resume
  • Essay - A brief (2 - 4 page) written essay which includes a short autobiography and the applicant's reason(s) for pursuing graduate study in substance use disorders.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Three letters of recommendation attesting to the applicant's ability to succeed in graduate school and a career in substance use disorder treatment. Only professional letters of recommendations will be accepted. Letters from professors, professionals in the field of mental health and human services, and/or supervisors from employment/field placement settings are recommended. Letters from family members and friends will not be accepted.
  • Copies of current active professional licenses and certificates (if applicable).
Master of Science in Cyber Security
  • Essay stating the reasons for applying, professional goals and how this degree will contribute to theses goals
Graduate Certificate in Trauma-Informed Emergency Management
  • Resume or CV
  • 2-4 page essay that includes a short autobiography, reasons for pursuing this degree, professional goals, and how this degree will contribute to your professional goals.

Graduate Certificate in Data Visualization and Representation
  • Essay stating the reasons for applying, professional goals and how this degree will contribute to these goals.
  • An image of a Data Visualization that you have created OR a Data Visualization that you think is successful and an explanation of the following:
    • If you have created the Data Visualization, tell us about the purpose of the visualization: the intended audience, how the data was collected, and your process. We would like to specifically know which elements of the visualization are most successful, where it can improve and what the visualization makes more immediately understandable than the raw data alone.
    • If you have selected a successful Data Visualization, we would like you to respond with a short critique. Please address who you believe is the intended audience, how do you believe the data was collected, and what were some of the steps needed to create this image. We would also like to know about what elements of the visualization you believe are most successful, where it can improve and what the visualization makes more immediately understandable than the data alone.
